Entering Day 5 of the trip about 5 months ago. HAHAHAHA! Never ending yes this would be the last 2 post, I promise no more HK after that. LOL. Alright, we woke up early in the morning and jot down my destination went to the same old place for breakfast. Oops… I forgot, this would be my last day in Hong Kong. So this time, we ordered as much as we're capable to swallow and also as expensive as we could and a variety of them presented on our table. wuahhahah!

Get Drooled…..

MmmmM… this is sweet chinese bun (mixture of milk and kaya paste) very tasty, sweet and gluey feel. GIve it a 4 out of 5.

The chicken leg and pork rib still taste decent after all.

Let's give it a mix balance.

Up next we have balsam pear with minced meat.

This is crab meat siew mai…

Crab meat dumpling with minature abalone. VERY YUMILICIOUS AND INTO TASTE! 1 is never enough.

Oh please… I have no idea what is it called. Steam Fish after all..

Cheung Fan with Light Soya Sauce.

Another type of sweet chinese bun. Man it was so cute until we're not sure whether to bite it or not.

Sharks Fin Soup. Yes… This is good!

Tune in to my last post with summary. Coming soon!

Visiting Hong Kong – Day 4 (Victoria Peak & Harbour)

December 17, 2007 - 6:11 pm  Print This 2 Comments

After Lamma Island, we rushed back to Hong Kong and directly proceeded to Victoria Peak which was located in Tsim Sha Tsui. Last year I was here for the madame tusauds but this year, it was for the sake of photography. I was overthrown with the scenary captured. wohoo… We took a bus up to Victoria Peak which was slightly cheaper than the tram ride. The time I reached there, it was already evening time and yet the air up there was so refreshing; chilling.

This is the peak tower situated in the heart of the terminal and the view on top was stunning (check below).

The Peak Lookout (Sign board). I never got the chance to try this restaurant but next time I will because I was in a hurry of 'reserving' my photoshooting slot. lol.

Another view of The Peak Lookout

In this picture, there's mountain and sea (ζœ‰ε±±ζœ‰ζ°΄). lol.

The time I reached the peak tower, there were quite a number of tourists & photographer there. I waited for 10 minutes to grab the front view (so excited). Eventually I did it and placed a stand on it; setup everything and whalla. But some chinese (lady) from mainland kept on pushing in and interfered my shooting. S.O.A.B, such faggots -.- and I understand they wanted a clear eye view for their photos but can't they wait? But still that doesn't affect my shooting. Every shot was snapped according to the timeframe; where the sky turned dark.

2IFC shot.. The lights are on. Around 7pm.

Shot at 6.45pm, still so bright and not as unique as the night view.

Getting darker. Around 7PM+

At 7:30PM, the lights are on.

At arund 8PM. Perfectly locked. I got more different color shots as well but maybe you can check my fotologue in the future. I'll post it up.

Shooting back at 2IFC. Now this is what I call starry city lights.

The center shot.

After that, we browsed around Lan Kuai Fong for leng luis' and pubs. Didn't managed to have a sit as we're in a rush to Victoria Harbour for another splendid shots. hehe!

Lan Kuai Fong @ Night. It was so crowded. How I wish I got the time to sit down somewhere around and have a beer or something. Haiz. Time not permit.

The moment I crossed over the street, I saw this poor lady begging for money while lying on the floor. :( She need some help!

Arrived at the Avenue of Stars a.k.a Victoria Harbour @ Tsim Sha Tsui after 20 minutes walk. Bruce Lee's statue showing off the riverbank.

Hello. Glad I've made this shot! Wipee!~

The night view of Hong Kong Island. See more in fotologue soon.

Visiting Hong Kong – Day 4 (Lamma Island P4)

November 27, 2007 - 3:08 pm  Print This No Comments

This will be the last post for Lamma Island. Great food can never be found elsewhere unless you know where to find it. Nonetheless, the food sold here are pricey so we limit our orders. Where price is a concern here, we ordered 3 dishes. Seafood here came from around the world as mentioned earlier. Shall we?

I ordered ice-lemon tea and it was tasteless. So they came along with a pot of syrup – and you pour your sweetness into the chilling tea. omg. I dare not to pour so much – scared of diabetes.

First dish we have "Asam Dong Fan with Undersea Escargots" (ι…ΈθΎ£ε†¬η²‰θœ—). S$25 per bowl and around 20 pcs. Not sure what species they’re from but for sure, they tasted weird and I felt like munching rubber. Eek…

This is how you extract the meat from the shell. A bamboo stick!

This is Ivory Mussels. In chinese we call this θ±‘η‰™θšŒ. Costs around S$30 per plate fr 4 pcs. The combination of the sweet spicy paste and dong fan (冬粉) is unbeatable. I give it a 5.

Extracting the meat.. Yummy… You have to try this.

Mantis Prawn (θ΅–ε°Ώθ™Ύ) served with fried garlic and onion. It costs S$30 per piece, and it’s finger licking good. Munch and crunch the "AJO" in your mouth. yummy!

Before I set back to Hong Kong Island, I took some scenary pictures around and these dried fishes. This is how the fisherman dried their fish – on the steel net.
